Having a peaceful meal...

Malaysia got so much nice food from various cultures (Malay, Chinese, Indian, Thai, Western etc). You can have food either outdoor or indoor at almost anytime. 3am? no problem.
England got a lot of pub. In here, pub serve the purpose as a restaurant as well. I had some nice meal in pub such as roast beef, grilled chicken, home made lasagne, even Malaysiam Rendang. But I can only have meal indoor. The great feeling of going mamak, will never occured here. However, it is cool, isn't it?
But sometimes could be irritating enough for me during the meal, when someone who DOESN'T EVEN ORDER ANY THING FOR HIM/HERSELF keep commenting my food... Saying "this vegetable looked nice", "that portion looked delicated", "why no one eat that drumstick", "everyone seems to like this portion more"etc.
In a better words, an ordinary dinner has become the food commentary (or food statisctic survey) session; in worse case, I am 'monitored' all the way while I am eating. The food eventually become tasteless no matter how good it is.

I just wondering, why couldn't he/she talk something out of the food, like current job status, interest/hobby, local news, pop music, economy, funny conversation with colleague, ambition, sharing of wisdom, family etc. There are so many topics to talk in the world!

How you know my food is delicious by just looking on it?
Does the drumstick left on the plate has any matter with you?
Do I bother you that I like drumstick more than chicken wing? Will you eventually cook/spend me a drumstick?
Why you keep asking people to eat while you are not eating at all?
Why you keep commenting it is delicious and you will never order one to try (or try make one yourself at home)?

Next time while you are about to propagande those pointless comments. Can you please SHUT UP?
I pay to enjoy the meal, not to hear your bullshit.
