Yes, we lied. Everyone of us lied on something for various reasons. But if we could, we would choose not to lie, as covering up a lie in the future require so much effort and quite often the lie bursts.

You said you were going out to watch a movie alone, but ended up meeting an old friend at mamak store. It is not a big deal for me, since I know that old friend as well. The old friend asked me to join you guys for tea also. How hilarious! But making such a lie is definitely shameful for yourself. It will just totally ruin your credibility.

Don't simply lie because it cost nothing. Lie for a good reason!
Don't simply lie as your lie bursts easily. Lie on something people have no way to verify!
