爽! - Malaysia General Election 2008

In the early morning on 08/03/2008 (Wed), I went to the primary school near my house to vote for my upcoming government, for the second time. I was a little bit over passionate, as I hope my vote will make a difference, as BN had ruled for so many years.

The DAP motto: “改国运，你决定！” (It is your call to change the country's fate!)
My friend also rush back to his place (Kepong) from Singapore to participate in this precious moment. For us who had been working abroad, it is very grateful if we can stay at our homeland and work, rather than going to a strange place and face unnecessary uncertainties (culture difference, racial discrimination, high income tax etc).

Yes! They won!
At my place (Teratai), DAP candidate Jenice Lee won! She is a brave lady who is just 3 years older than me. Why am I saying she is brave? Because joining DAP, there is no expectation of prosperity and life stability. Opposition party can only expect jail, ISA and verbal insult in the parliament.

I received a sms from my buddy in NewYork saying "There is still hope in Malaysia!" Bastard, come back lar!



The opposition party won a lots and form 5 state governments (Kelantan, Perak, Pulau Pinang, Selangor and Kedah). Hopefully they can change our life.

For BN who lost in the election, hopefully they review themselves seriously, and stop being arrogant. You are not god, not even close to it!

As we had brought you down once, we will bring you down again!

人民的声音

2008年3月6日 激情的晚上！

民主行动党（DAP）在我家附近的Pandan Lake Side停车场举行了久违五年一次的政治讲座。
参加人数没有USJ，PJ讲座那么多，但在我区也算罕见！
首先由潘俭伟讲，我没听到，没赶得及回家！
然后由Teratai区州议席候选人李映霞（DAP）讲，接着是Pandan区国会议席候选人SYED SHAHIR BIN SYED MOHAMUD(Keadilan, 现任大马工会主席）演讲。
他们要都要赶场，接着由一位资深的Perak行动党党演讲。
他也赶场！接着由李映霞的助选员讲，气氛蛮闷！
他们也讲到没有东西讲，就让几位居民上来讲，上来骂国阵，骂治安！
骂完了，没有人要讲了！围聚的听众仍然不走！
只好又让李映霞的助选员再讲！他们其实就在重复一样的课题，这场太冷了！

接着，竟然下起大雨！人们竟然也不肯走，大家都在撑伞！
怪，没给钱，没椅子坐，没主讲人，下大雨，大家为何不回家？

原来大家都在等郭素心！
从10pm到11.25pm，一小时半，大家就是在等她！
终于，她来了！气氛又活过来了！大家都兴奋！
她也很落力地讲，批评国阵的政绩！掌声不绝于耳。
12.10am，是时候散了！
大家又围拢过去，拍照，握手！


我在想，为何大家和四年前不一样？那么热情，又在风雨中等待？
应该是因为大家都这几年都没有好日子过，她把大家的难处都说出来！
那就给她，和她党里的战斗同志们，一个机会吧！让她们来挫国阵的霸气，为我们做一点事吧！
